Natural Gas Has Filled The Gap

Bookmark and Share

Natural Gas Futures--- Natural gas futures in the January contract are trading lower for the 3rd consecutive session finally filling the price gap that I have talked about over the last several weeks between 3.05/3.10 as that was completely accomplished in today's trade as I will now be looking at a possible bullish position come next weeks trade.

In my opinion prices could retest the November 1st low of 2.98, but after that I think prices are very limited to the downside as we are now entering the extremely volatile winter season as December is almost upon us.

Natural gas prices are now trading under their 20 and 100 day moving average has been trend has turned to the downside, however this trend has gone nowhere and has been mixed over the last 6 months so keep a close eye on a possible bottom in the days ahead.

If you have read my previous blogs you understand that I don't like price gaps as sometimes you have to be patient as that is exactly what has occurred in this situation as there was no reason for this market to gap up on November 6th as now that that has been filled.

I stated previously I will be looking at a bullish position as I'm not going to take any short positions in the commodity markets as I think they are cheap heading into 2018 as I have several bullish recommendations on at the current time.

TREND: LOWER

CHART STRUCTURE: IMPROVING

VOLATILITY---INCREASING
