Sugar Prices Hit A 14 Week High

Bookmark and Share

Sugar Futures--- Sugar futures in the March contract are trading higher by 18 points breaking major resistance which was hit on September 15th at 15.20 as we are now trading at 15.25 hitting a 14 week high.

I have been recommending 2 bullish positions with an average price of around 14.74 as I think prices could retest the August 1st high of 15.82 in the coming days ahead as the bullish momentum continues as I will also be looking at recommending another bullish position once the chart structure improves next week.

If you took the original trades place the stop loss under the 10 day low which now stands at 14.23 and in Monday's trade will be raised to 14.43 as the risk/reward are still in your favor.

Sugar prices are trading above their 20 and 100 day moving average as this trend is getting stronger on a weekly basis and if you are not involved in this market wait for some type of price retracement before entering into a bullish position as this is my only soft commodity recommendation at the current time, however I'm very close to entering into a bullish coffee and cotton trade as the commodity markets are starting to come alive once again which is a terrific thing to see.
