Crude Opens Higher On Night Session

Bookmark and Share

Crude Oil Futures--- Crude oil futures in the December contract are currently trading higher by $0.23 at 54.13 a barrel on the Sunday night session as volatility has come back into this market as we finished up over $1.25 last Friday as I have been recommending a bullish position from around the 53.15 level & if you took that trade continue to place the stop loss below the 2 week low of 50.87 as the chart structure will not improve for another 5 trading sessions.

Oil prices have now hit a 6 month high as unleaded gas & heating oil are slightly higher on the night session as well continuing their bullish momentum as this entire sector is riding the coattails of the stock market which continues to move higher on a weekly basis hitting another all-time high last week and & if you're not involved in this market wait for some type of price retracement before entering therefore lowering the monetary risk.

Oil prices are still trading far above their 20 and 100 day moving averages as the next major level of resistance is around the $55 level which could be tested this week as prices will react off of several reports which will be released over the next several days.TREND: HIGHERCHART STRUCTURE: SOLID
