Looking To Buy Coffee

Bookmark and Share

Coffee Futures--- Coffee futures in the December contract are trading higher by 60 points currently at 138.45 a pound up for the 7th consecutive trading session hitting a 4 week high as I am currently not involved, but I'm looking at a possible bullish position on any type of profit-taking pushing prices lower.

The chart structure at the present time is poor as the 10 day low stands at the September 6th low at 126.75 risking around $4,400 per contract plus slippage and commission which is too high at this time so keep a close eye on this market as I would like to get into a bullish position around the 133.00 level.

If you have followed any of my previous blogs you understand that I was not willing to take a short position in this market as I do think the commodity markets are going higher as prices are now trading above their 20 and 100 day moving average as the trend has turned to the upside.

At the present time I am also looking at bullish positions in cocoa and sugar as the soft commodities look to have bottomed out in my opinion as the U.S dollar is down about 20 points today as I still think that trend moves lower pushing commodity markets higher as demand I believe is starting to come back due to the fact of improving worldwide economies as prices across the board still look cheap.TREND: HIGHER –CHART STRUCTURE: POOR
