Looking At A Bullish Trade In Sugar

Bookmark and Share

Sugar Futures--- Sugar futures in the October contract are trading higher for the 2nd consecutive trading session up 25 points at 14.28 a pound as I'm looking at a possible bullish position if prices break 14.44 & if that does occur I would place the stop loss under the 10 day low which stands at 13.63 risking around $900 plus slippage and commission as the chart structure is outstanding at the present time due to the fact of low volatility.

In my opinion I do think sugar prices bottomed out around the 13.00 level as the commodity markets in general look bullish across the board for the 1st time in a while as the trends might finally be coming back so look to play this to the upside as the risk/reward are in your favor as sugar prices have been in a bearish trend over the last 6 months.

Sugar prices are trading above their 20 day but still below their 100 day moving average which stands at 14.78 as we broke the 15 level last month & if that level is broken again I think we could head back up the 16/17 area as there is room to run to the upside so keep a close eye on this market as we could be involved in tomorrow's trade.TREND: HIGHER---CHART STRUCTURE: EXCELLENT
