Emergency Medical Services Corp. (EMS) last reported earnings on October 31st. EMS reported EPS at 66 cents, up from 34 cents last year and above analysts’ expectations of 45 cents.

Company management noted that 2008 revenue was boosted by its contract with FEMA to provide services in the wake of hurricanes Gustav and Ike.
