I've been recommending buying puts and selling futures in the dec cocoa since 2950 price level. In my opinion we're going to see an extended selloff to 2250. Below are a few of the reasons why. *look for our commentators every Monday and Thursday on CNBC Morning Call 8:30ET* here on inside futures, dowjonesnewwires, and bloomberg.com Michael Maniatis Market Strategist Lasalle Futures Group 888-325-9300 mmaniatis@lasallefuturesgroup.com www.timemeansmoney.com You can call or email me to discuss further different market opportunities.

We are seeing a breakout with the us dollar and the song remains the same, dollar inverse relationship to cocoa and other commodities. The fannie/freddie news gives stocks/economy a solid footing moving forward through sept, and takes away fear in the credit market and gives the us dollar such a slap on the back of confidence to continue its upward momentum. Also, I am looking at 2574 old support to become the new pivot number. In my opinion traders will be buying just above 2574 and selling below 2574.Close below 2574 is ultra bearish. 2625R1 2650R2 and 2675R3. We'd probably need a 2 day close above 2625 for the market to shift to neutral from bearish. Other than that, I see a 2250 price in the near future.
