Lennox today is up 0.8% and is near a record high for the stock, which started trading with its IPO in July 1999. Lennox, with a market cap of about $2.2 billion, sells heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment worldwide. Lennox last Thursday reported Q4 EPS of 59 cents, which was well above the analyst consensus of 49 cents. The company provided 2010 EPS guidance of $1.85-2.25 versus the consensus of $2.11. Sterne Agee last Friday upgraded Lennox to a Buy from Neutral due to modest residential volume improvements.
