February Crude Oil
After the close on 1/19/10: My resistance was 79.39 FG, just .24 from the actual high, and my pivot acted as support and was 77.07, .31 from the actual low.

I said "2009 high is resistance, I consider this a "double top" and retest of the bracket line support was in order". Last bar on right will be corrected by vendor.
Bracket line is now pivotal, bears next tartget is an attempt to recapture the downtrend line.Since the market left a gap from Thursday, that is first resistance.
February Crude Oil for 1/19/10
I have been saying for months "What the equities market & the $ does from here, will help or hurt crude oil".
In my daily numbers on Monday my resistance was $0.71 from the actual high; my support was $1.06 from the actual
Crude Oil: Outside the US supply demand is improving for the bulls, but here in the US the API said that demand for crude oil and petroleum products for 2009 fell 4% compared to 2008, although it did note that there was a slight uptick in most categories during December itself. This is another market that is oversold and could have a bounce today. I have the same thoughts and ideas as yesterday, and would be willing to sell near $79 with a buy stop just above the gap to protect.
